SpaceX has refueled its Starship megarocket, preparing for the vehicle's upcoming test flight.

The operation, known as a wet dress rehearsal (WDR), took place on Tuesday, May 28 at SpaceX's Starbase facility in South Texas.

The company pumped massive amounts of liquid oxygen and methane into Starship's first and second stages, known as Super Heavy and Starship

The Starship and Super Heavy were loaded with more than 10 million pounds of propellant during a rehearsal for Flight 4.

This was the Starship vehicle's second WDR, following the one on May 20.

The tests are part of the prelaunch preparations for Starship's fourth flight, which could launch as early as June 5, according to SpaceX's X post.

The first three Starship test flights were conducted in April 2023, November 2023, and March 14 of this year. The vehicle has gotten better with each subsequent flight.

Flight 3 lasted nearly 50 minutes and ended when Ship broke apart during reentry into Earth's atmosphere.
